KI long weekender

"My husband and I promised our granddaughter a KI trip as part of her birthday celebrations so booked the June long weekend. Booking experience was seamless, check-in and boarding for the departure ferry was perfect- all went to plan and as expected! The return trip was fraught with challenges and the reason I give a 5 star experience is how Sealink supported us through all! I was advised our original booked ferry would be cancelled due to unfavourable weather. I was advised to contact customer support and they were able to get us on a morning ferry and immediately resent the itinerary. Then the morning we were scheduled to depart, that ferry was also cancelled. Upon driving to the terminal, we spoke to a lovely girl who advised that the 1030 (which was in the final stages of boarding) ferry was fully booked but to go the standby lane and if we fit (the car), they'd try to get us on-board. We were squeezed on, all the crew were helpful with navigating me to reverse my car into a tight spot and helped my husband, daughter and granddaughter board straight away! We were extremely grateful for the kindness and help we were given! Massive kudos to them all! 👏👏👏"

SeaLink ferry trip to Kangaroo Island with some tight parking!!

"We got on the SeaLink ferry to Kangaroo Island. It was my first ever visit to KI. Drop the Cape Jervis, got on the ferry. In the beginning I was wondering how all these cars will fit in such a small space but the ferry operators helped you park your car into the tightest of spots it's amazing how they are just so confident in what they do. I was super impressed. Ferry ride was lovely and relaxing and the view was amazing!"
