Millie Mae's Pantry has been created to celebrate the wonderful food and beverages of Kangaroo Island, enjoyed in our fun garden with the feels of being here forever. We serve delicious breakfast and lunch daily, using as many local products that we can get our hands on! You can enjoy your food on our deck, in our beautiful garden or take away with you (if you're rushing for the boat!) We also have a wide selection of local products to purchase from our pantry store. All our products are from the wonderful businesses and families from Kangaroo Island and include honey, figs, chutneys, olives, oils, lavender products, health food, skin care, pottery, candles and much more! We also sell our own homemade products with ingredients from our garden. ​ In the afternoons, you can also pop in for a drink or snack. Try a local toasted Panini, we think they go best with a local glass of wine, beer or KIS gin! ​ We look forward to seeing you soon!

Poor August service

"I ordered soup for my wife and I. Her’s was fine but mine was cold. When I asked for it to be warmed up I was told that it was hot and that the problem was that I was old and couldn’t taste properly . When they finally brought the””warmed”” it had been microwaved to boiling and was not readily edible. Unimpressive!"

A kangaroo island highlight

"The best meal we had on Kangaroo Island. Everything was faultless and yummy. The haloumi and avocado on toast was so much more delicious than you’d expect for such simple components. The best iced chocolate I’ve had in recent memory. Honestly worth the drive from anywhere on kangaroo island to eat here because it outshines everything else we had."

Basic food

"Pretty average. Food was overpriced - $21 for a chicken melt which was small and very basic. Prices should be reduced to match the food quality. Would find a better place to eat"

Go to cafe next door

"As a local I have been to this cafe a few times real joy to go to. Now under new ownership so sad, out side area used to be wonderful this time tables and general area unkept, tables dirty and full of used plate. Staff rude as hell, asked for a BLT got charged.$18 for an old roll, half a rasher of bacon , tiny lettuce leaf huge blob of garlic mayo and sliced cherry tomato. Really!!"
