Kangaroo Island Living Honey is a family owned & operated Honey farm. We currently manage approx 350 hives & produce 20+ ton of Raw & Certified Organic honey annually. We are passionate about the Ligurian Honey bees & have ethics that put the bees first. We offer Bee Keeping Tours and Experiences and a Farm gate shop where you can taste the amazing Raw Organic Honey and purchase other wonderful Bee products. Our Aim is to produce products of the highest standard and as natural as possible. We avoid using chemicals in all aspects of our farming practices. We love our bees and the amazing products that they create and we want to share their amazing story with everyone that visits. Our business is part of our home surroundings so when you arrive it is a very relaxed and casual atmosphere. Even our farm animals and pets welcome all that visit.

Educational, interesting and great fun.

"A must do when visiting the island. I was astounded by how much I learnt about bees. The session was interesting, informative and presented with humour. No question was too silly, and I had plenty. You will never buy massive produced honey again. Lots of wonderful products available in the shop. Goats, kangaroos, cows and even cute dogs to see. Thank you ladies for a fun afternoon."

Excellent Beekeeping Experience

"Great beekeeping experience with Shawn on his family farm. He explained everything clearly - life cycle, roles, hives, extraction process etc.. We tasted various honeys (all were delicious). Plenty of products to buy at the farm shop. Highly recommend if you are visiting KI."

Bee experience

"This was a really informative thing to do. We learnt lots about the bees and their environment. Questions were welcomed and it was a hands on experience. Photos were taken for us as we were weqring gloves. Shaun was very caring about the bees and environement and we had a lovely tasting afterwards. Highly recommended"

A nice little outlet

"Our original idea was to visit here and have a coffee before having a look around. Unfortunately the coffee outlet is no longer here. The lady in charge was very knowledgable about all things honey and was happy to pass this knowledge on."
