Remarkables are truly remarkable!
"This park is truly a wonderful experience on KI. It is on the far west coast of the island, and you drive along a long, narrow road for quite a while to get there. It can get pretty crowded with big bus tours, so plan accordingly. There are stairs and narrow paths so you need to watch your step The Remarkables and coastal hikes around the area are stunning. On a clear day (as we had) one really feels the vastness and beauty of the area."

A great way to spend a whole day in Kangaroo Island!
"A wonderful way to spend a day, if you are visiting Kangaroo Island. Budget at least three hours, preferably four or five. An extremely scenic spot. The main attractions are at the very tip: Admirals Arch, the Lighthouse, etc..etc... But please do not miss the Remarkable Rocks. It is a bit out of the way....an amazing set of rock formations. Overall, this is NOT a good place for people with serious mobility issues....lot of walking, and a lot of uneven surfaces. In addition, this is NOT a good place for toddlers, unless they are exceptionally well supervised. There are plenty of places where a small child could get into trouble. Also, small children may get really tired with all the walking. Subject to these caveats, this is a fantastic place to visit. When you get your tickets at the visitor centre near the entrance, you will get a map, the staff are superb, ask their advice on how to spend the time, good spots for photos, etc... Also, if you have any mobility issues, or a stroller, or little kids, ask the staff about places where you need to take extra care. One final caution: this is NOT a good place to go to on a rainy day! Or an extremely windy day."

Simply stunning scenery
"After the devastation of the 2019/20 bushfires, the SA NP service has not just rebuilt structures and features of the park, they have designed an created amazing facilities for visitors. - The staff at the main headquarters were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. - Rocky River camp site has been very well designed, facilities are excellent and sites are large, level and well separated. - Walking paths were well sign posted as was all signage in the park. An absolute must."

Worth a visit
"Nice, new visitor center with cafe. Signs are good telling you where to go. We loved the Remarkable Rocks & Admiral's Arch. We saw so many fur seals at the arch. We hiked the Heritage Trail looking for Koalas. We saw lots of their poo, but no koalas. We also hiked the Platypus waterhole trail only to find out later from a local guide that the Platypuses aren't there any more, but it was still a nice nature hike with informative signs along the way."
