Vivonne Bay general store famous whiting burger lives to its reputation

"Vivonne Bay general store's famous whiting burger lived up to its reputation. Very delicious and very expensive. But there was a huge difference whether burgers were cooked by the lady, who worked there for ages, or by backpackers, substituting her when she was away. We had a whiting burger 3 times - twice were super yummy when she was the chef, and once was edible, but not even close to the usual taste. All the ingredients were the same, but the final product was very different. At the counter, when you place the order, you can see the kitchen & who is working there, so you can know what burger you will get. The portions are substantial. Definitely will be back."

"When theres nothing around this is an oasis. Food mediocre. But amazing to have flushing toilets. Only place for fuel on this side of the island."

Definetely a tasty surprise!!

"I tend not to write food reviews, but the chicken burger, definetely deserves one. It was hot, crispy and terrific!! I loved it. A bit priced, however good value for money and worth it. 100% recomended."
